Norway has three VAT rates: 25% (standard), 15% (food and beverages) and 12% (passenger transport, hotels, cinema). You must register for VAT when turnover exceeds NOK 50,000 in 12 months. Invoyo calculates the correct VAT rate automatically.

How do I issue a credit note?

A credit note is issued when you need to correct or cancel an invoice. It must reference the original invoice number. You can never modify a sent invoice – only credit and reissue. Invoyo creates credit notes with one click.

What's the deadline for sending an invoice after delivery?

According to Norwegian bookkeeping regulations, invoices should be sent as soon as possible, no later than 30 days after delivery. Invoyo can be set up to invoice automatically upon delivery.
